   Buffy sat in her bedroom, thinking about the dreams that she and the others had had. She didn't know what to do about them. Buffy didn't know how to convince Willow that she wasn't the shy, gawky, nerd that Willow was afraid she was on the inside.    

 Buffy didn't know what to do about Xander, either. He seemed to think he was a cowardly loser. She'd tried to convince him that being afraid didn't make you a coward. That he was afraid and still fought made him brave. Brave people weren't losers.  

 Then there was Giles. She thought about that. There *was* something she could do about him. They all could. She bit her lip and picked up the phone. 



   Buffy met the others outside of the Expresso Pump. She looked at Xander. "You checked, he's in there?"

 Xander nodded with a silly grin. "He was singing 'Layla.'"

 Buffy looked intrigued. "Really?" She shook her head. "Everybody ready?" They all held up lighters, including Buffy. "Let's go." They went inside.    



   Giles' voice, as he finished his song, carried through the cafe. In a dark corner, the Scooby Gang listened with appreciation and the knowledge that the words were Giles at his heart.

'Til I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on

Lean on me ...     

   Giles smiled out at the applauding audience. "Thank you." Then his eyes were caught by the flickering light of five lighters. He stood, set down his guitar and headed for the dark corner. "What are you lot doing here?" He asked surprised.      

 They all looked at Buffy and she spoke for them. "We're just showing you our appreciation."

 A group hug for the original Gang.
