"What do you think?"
"Ehm... Mom... It's not that I don't want to, it's just that
I... I promised Giles to train this afternoon. I don't want to
disappoint him."
"He can come along. He's been so busy with the new job, I
bet he'd love to get out."
"Eh... Maybe..."
"Buffy, please. Is it so hard to spent an afternoon with
your old mom?"
"Of course not."
"I actually cooked."
"Really?"
Joyce pushed her daughter into the kitchen, where food filled the
table. Her Mom really had to be desperate. Buffy hadn't been
aware of how much she obviously missed her. She turned around to
her Mom smiling.
"I'll go, but with that amount of food, I don't think the
three of us will be able to eat that."
"We'll manage."
"Mom, nobody can eat so much. Except maybe Xander."
"Then why don't you invite him, too?"
She took a look at the load of cake, pizza, snacks of all kinds.
Xander would probably be the only way to save it from landing in
the rubbish.
"I'll call them."
*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*
Five hours later they sat under a tree on a meadow located on the
outskirts of Sunnydale. It was mostly surrounded by forrest and a
small stream went by.
It was quite beautiful and Buffy was grateful, that she hadn't
turned down her Mom's offer.
She smiled as Xander pushed another piece of cake into his mouth.
"Mrs. Summers, this is so great. Really. Will you adopt
me?"
Joyce smiled widely.
"I hardly believe your parents would just let you go."
Xander's grin disappeared.
Giles quickly came to rescue.
"Joyce, could I have another piece of that delicious
cake?"
"Sure."
She handed it to him absentmindedly. She looked at Xander. When
Buffy had mentioned that his situation at home wasn't great she
had thought that they fought a lot, that maybe his parents were
on the way to a divorce, too, but obviously it was something
else. Something that made him think, they didn't care about him.
She found that impossible to understand. To not love your child,
especially someone who was like Xander. So vivacious and funny.
He had made her laugh quite a few times since they had picked him
up at his house.
She looked into the basket that lay next to her and saw the
pizza. She took a slice out and offered it to the young man.
He took a bite and moaned.
"God, this is so good. Mrs. Summers, I officially love you.
Buffy, you have no idea how much luck you have. How could you
ever move out?"
Buffy just rolled her eyes. Xander and Joyce were grinning at
each other.
Buffy turned her gaze to Giles, who had a strange smile on his
face, looking at the others, then he turned to her and smiled.
Buffy lay on her back looking at the blue sky. What a wonderful
day. Her Mom had someone to spoil, Xander had enough food and an
adult who didn't yell at him and Giles seemed more relaxed than
ever since he had started working at the museum.
She looked up at him again. He was leaning against the tree,
wearing no jacket and no tie, just a shirt that was not even
buttoned to the top. When he looked at her he smiled again. She
moved her hand to him and squeezed his hand lightly.
He took her hand in his.
They stayed like that while Xander kept eating and talking with
Joyce about her job, her teenage years, her favorite cartoon and
other stuff, some of which was new even to Buffy.
She closed her eyes and drifted into a pleasant half-sleep, the
only thing still getting through her the faint voices of her
mother and Xander and Giles stroking her hand once in a while.
*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*
She must have fallen asleep at some point, because the next thing
she heard was a scream.
"BUFFY!"
She was up in an instant at first disoriented. It was dark and
she was outside. Yes, the picnic. Then she saw the vampire
attacking Xander who had stepped between the demon and Joyce.
Xander flew to the ground and the vampire jumped onto Joyce
sending her to the ground. He was about to bite her when Buffy
staked him.
"Are you okay, Mom?"
She was panting, but nodded.
Buffy turned to Xander and then to Giles. He wasn't there, then
she heard sounds of fighting.
She turned to Xander.
"Take care of her."
Then she ran in the direction of the sounds. When she came
closer, she saw three of them. One had Giles pinned to the ground
under him. She kicked the one, who got in her way aside, then
pushed the demon on Giles away, rolling on the ground with the
vamp. Giles immediately got up punched the third vampire, who had
rushed to help the one who was now fighting with Buffy. Now he
looked at Giles, not impressed with his attempt to knock him
down, instead very angry.
Considering his chances, Giles decided for the thing most likely
to give him enough time to think of a good strategy or Buffy to
have finished the smaller vampires: He ran. Straight into the
woods.
Buffy finally staked one vampire and went after Giles, followed
by the demon who had recovered from her kick.
When she felt him grip her, she stopped and turned around.
"Still there?"
She broke a branch of the closest tree and dusted him, before
going after Giles and his pursuer again.
She could hardly see anything and followed by listening closely.
She heard Giles groan and went even faster, not caring about the
branches that flew into her face.
When she got to them, the vampire was disappearing between the
trees, leaving Giles lying on the ground. She knelt down next to
him.
"God, Giles, are you okay?"
"My stomach..."
She looked closer and saw that his shirt was bloody. She opened
it and pushed it aside revealing an ugly looking wound. Blood
kept flowing out of it and Buffy tore the lower piece of her top
away and pressed the material on the wound.
He put his hand on hers.
"What did he do to you?"
"Wasn't him. I fell onto a branch, when he got me. Are you
all right?"
"I'm fine Giles, but I'm worried about your wound. Your
whole shirt is full of blood and it doesn't want to stop."
He said nothing, just pressed a little harder onto her hands.
After a couple of minutes Buffy moved her hands carefully to take
a look. It had stopped bleeding, but what had been the lower half
of her top was soaked with blood.
"Okay, we can't move you with a wound like that, so we
better get a little more comfortable."
"Buffy..."
"No, Giles, I'm not sure if I would find the way back and
even if I did, it would take hours to carry you and I don't want
to take the risk. You might start bleeding again."
She moved up his torso and sat down behind him. She leaned
against a tree and he was lying between her legs leaning against
her, his head between her breasts. She folded her arms around him
and he put his on hers.
"Try to sleep a little. I'll stay awake and protect
you."
She couldn't see him smile, but felt him squeeze her hand. She
bent down and kissed his head.
*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*
"Ouch."
"Sorry."
"Don't be. You're saving my life."
He grinned at her and Joyce smiled as she kept cleaning the gash
on Xander's forehead.
"Done."
"And I didn't even flinch."
"No, you didn't. You were very brave."
They both laughed shortly, then Joyce' gaze turned to the forrest
again.
"This shouldn't take so long."
"I'm sure they're fine."
"We should go after them."
No, they shouldn't. Xander knew very well, that if Buffy and
Giles hadn't managed to get the vampires, Joyce and he himself
would just be next item on their menu. And they didn't even know
in which direction they had gone. They would just put themselves
in danger and he had promised Buffy to look after Joyce. Not that
he was only caring about her because of that.
It had been one of the most wonderful days of his life. She
hadn't joked once about his appetite and she had looked at him as
if he was... someone. He had loved to make her laugh and listen
to her voice. He really couldn't understand why Buffy had moved
out. Joyce was such an amazing person. Generous and
light-hearted, with a sense of humour and quite beautiful. He had
noticed that whenever she had smiled in that certain way. And she
genuinely seemed to like him. She had asked about his plans and
had seemed interested and encouraged him to do whatever he
wanted.
His own parents only paid him any attention, when they wanted to
fight and Buffy and Giles and the others liked him, but were
often too preoccupied to find out more about the person he had
become over the years. To them he was mostly the same old Xander
they had always known, but he felt that he had changed.
And that Joyce was the first person, who seemed interested in
him. Who didn't have a fixed picture of him. He didn't want her
to go into the forrest to get killed by vampires. But he knew
that she wouldn't be able to just sit and wait.
So they went into the woods to look for them. They had flash
lights and walked for half an hour, before Joyce realized how
hopeless it was to find them in the dark.
They walked back to the car.
"We can start looking for them as soon as it dawns. They
probably just lost their way."
She nodded still worried, but there was nothing they could do
right now.
Xander opened the backdoor of the car and Joyce got in. He took
the passenger seat in front.
"Try to sleep a little."
When he realized that she had started to cry he got out of the
car and back in sitting down next to her and taking her in his
arms.
"Don't cry. Please, Joyce. It's gonna be okay. They would
never let themself get killed by a couple of vamps. They have
killed hundreds of them."
She just kept weeping into his shirt as he stroked her hair.
They sat silent until Joyce' sobs subsided. He leaned back a
little keeping his arms around her. She moved her arms around him
as well, so that they half sat, half lay on the backseats arms
around each other.
"Try to sleep."
"Thank you, Xander."
"I have to thank you, Joyce. I've never felt so loved all my
life."
She looked up at him and their eyes were locked for a long
moment. Then she put her head back on his chest.
"Good-night, Xander."
"Good-night, Joyce."
He resisted the urge to kiss her head. Barely.
*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*
Although it was long past midnight and quite cold, Buffy was wide
awake and sweating.
Giles had fallen asleep a while ago. Which was good. But he had
turned around in his sleep, so right now he lay between her legs
and his head was between her breasts. She could feel every breath
on her right breast. His hands were around her - and Buffy was so
aroused that she thought she would go crazy. Her nipples had
become rock-hard shortly after he had turned around, but it was
his hot breath and his occasional shifting against her body that
had caused her panties to be soaked with her juices.
It had been so long since that one time. She knew the desire, but
usually she had it under control. But right now it took all her
willpower not to run her hands through his hair and direct his
mouth onto her breasts. She kept imagining him inside her and
this made her just wetter.
She hated it to be so out of control. Overcome by lust. She tried
not to think of the fact, that this might have nothing to do with
the fact, that it had been over one and a half years. That this
could possibly be not about a general need of her body, not
*anyone* lying so close to her, but this specific man. Giles.
He shifted around turned his head towards her left breast moving
so that his waist was pressing slightly against her sex.
She couldn't help the moan.
He awoke. It took him a second to realize where he was. He could
feel her heart beating. And her breast so close to his mouth. He
knew that he should move away, let her know that he was awake,
but he couldn't. He he had dreamed to be so close to her for such
a long time. He could hardly ever touch her although he wished to
learn her whole body with his hands and his mouth. He felt
himself harden against her thigh and jumped up.
"God, Giles, are you okay?"
He felt dizzy.
"I'm all right."
He started walking.
Buffy got up as well. She didn't know, why he had gotten up so
quickly and just hoped that he hadn't noticed the wetness between
her legs.
"Giles, stop."
"I'm okay."
"You have lost too much blood. You can't walk. It'll just
start bleeding again."
He ignored her and walked faster. She grabbed his arm but he went
on.
"Giles!"
"I'm *fine*."
Then he dropped to the ground.
"Oh, god."
She knelt down next to him and inspected the wound. It had
started bleeding again.
She got out of the rest of the top and pressed it against the
wound.
"Buffy."
"Why did you do that?"
"I can't..."
"You can't what?"
He could see her white bra in the faint moonlight and turned his
head away.
Why couldn't she just let him die. He wanted nothing more than to
drag her face down to his and kiss her.
She lay down next to him, her hands still pressing on the wound.
She placed her head on his shoulder. He put part of his shirt on
her back to keep her warm, although she didn't seem cold at all,
and to keep at least some material between her bare skin and the
arm that was around her, holding her.
Now it was Giles, who could fell her hot breath on his skin. He
was just glad, that the way she lay now, she couldn't feel his
arousal.
*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*
When Xander awoke it was still dark. Joyce had turned around in
her sleep so that she was straddling his left leg, pressing onto
his hard penis with her left thigh.
Oh, god. Why did this have to happen. Joyce had been so nice to
him. And the only thing his body seemed to think of was to push
himself inside her as deep and as fast as he could. Stop that. He
felt himself getting even harder.
Joyce noticed the hard thing pressing into her thigh and tried to
get away from it by shifting her body. Then she heard a moan and
awoke. She didn't move, but he immediately knew that she was
awake, because her whole body tensed.
"I'm sorry," he whispered.
She looked up at him.
"Why?"
"Because... you've been so great and I..."
He pushed the leg between his thighs away until Joyce sat next to
him.
"I can only blame my teenage hormones."
He looked away out of the window. Then he felt a hand on his
face.
She turned his face to hers.
"There's nothing to be sorry about. It's the nicest
compliment I've had in years. That someone could still want me,
although I'm..."
"You are wonderful Joyce! Beautiful and sexy and everything
a man could look for in a woman."
She watched him surprised.
"I mean it Joyce. I wish I had someone like you. Who cared
about me."
"I care about you."
They looked at each other for a long moment. Then she leaned
forward and slowly placed her lips on his. The kiss was a little
awkward at first, but as the passion rose, it deepened and soon
they were entangled, arms and legs around each other, exploring
their mouths with their tongues.
Xander pushed her pullover up and pulled her shirt out of her
trousers but didn't quite dare to touch her bare skin yet. So she
directed his hands onto her waist. Then she started to unbutton
his shirt. His hands wandered around underneath her shirt and
pullover over her stomach to her breasts. He moved around to her
back to unclasp her bra, then slid under it to caress her bare
nipples.
She moaned then backed away to get out of pullover, shirt and
bra. He gasped at her beautiful sight.
"You look so lovely Joyce."
She smiled and moved his shirt from his shoulders, hurrying to
get him out of it and the t-shirt he wore underneath, so that he
could put his hands back on her breasts as soon as possible. But
when she had rid him of his shirt, he put his hands on her waist
and kissed her. She was about to complain, when he moved his head
further down past her neck onto her right nipple, sucking on it.
"Oh, god, Xander..."
He licked his way to the other breast and when he started sucking
on that nipple his hands moved to the zipper of her trousers and
opened it. She put one hand in his hair, the other on his back,
stroking him. When she noticed that he wanted to push down her
trousers she helped him by lifting her body up. He not only slid
down her trousers, but also her underpants and when she felt his
hand on her bare knees, she immediately opened her legs for him.
He slowly moved his hand towards her wet center, driving her
crazy with anticipation, while his mouth still caressed her
breast.
When he finally reached her sex he was amazed by the wetness he
found. He slid past her lower lips, then put his wet finger into
his mouth to taste her. She smiled at him and they kissed again,
moving until Joyce lay on her back and Xander was between her
legs. She opened his trousers and pushed them down along with his
boxers, freeing his straining cock.
When she put a hand around his rock-hard shaft he moaned, then
quickly pulled her hand away.
"It'll be hard enough as it is."
She laughed.
"I can see no problem with hardness right now."
She dragged him down to her, kissing him senseless. She could
feel his tip between her lower lips, but he didn't slide in, so
she moved her hands to his butt and pushed him inside her.
"Oh, god."
"Oh, Xander. You're so big, so wonderful... Aaaaah."
He had started to move in and out of her and now sped up his
movements fondling her clit, knowing that he wouldn't last very
long.
But she was close to the edge as well. She started to contract
around him and he could do nothing to stifle his cries of
pleasure.
"Joyce, yes, yes. *Aaaah*."
The rhythm was now nearly frantic, their thrusts out of control.
Then neither of them could hold back any longer and at once they
climaxed, Xander shooting his hot seed in her, while Joyce
convulsed around him, calling out his name one more time.
Then they lay in each others arms, panting.
When his breathing had returned to normal, he gently kissed her
cheek, then he looked into her eyes seriously.
"I love you, Joyce."
She put one hand on his face returning his gaze.
"I love you, too."
*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*
Thank, god, the bleeding had stopped. She trailed her hand from
the wound upward to his chest, running her fingers through his
hair. Angel didn't have hair and Giles felt so wonderful. Knowing
that the bleeding had stopped, she relaxed a little and dozed
unconsciously running her hand over his body.
Was she trying to drive him mad? His heart began to beat faster
as she stroked his nipple. He could feel the little blood that
was left in him run straight to his penis. Her hand moved back to
the middle of his chest just over his heart.
Buffy suddenly noticed the rate of his heart beat.
"Giles, are you okay?"
What a question!? He wanted nothing more than pin her to the
ground and bury himself in her deep and fast until she screamed
in pleasure. So he just asked.
"Are you freezing?"
"No, I'm hot."
She practically breathed the last word out, sending shivers
through his whole body. He couldn't do this. He needed to get
away from her, so that he could relax and the blood could find
its way back to provide him with handy things like oxygen.
He gathered all his strength and got up, pushing Buffy gently to
the ground.
"What...?"
He felt dizzy, but was determined to get away from her hot,
barely clad body. But Buffy was up in an instant, her worry
waking her from her half-sleep.
"Giles! You'll kill yourself."
He kept going, so she went past him and got into his way. When he
bumped into her she suddenly knew, why he tried to get away. The
knowledge that he wanted, too, filled her with warmth. Not only
her stomach and her sex, but also her heart. She wanted to throw
her arms around him and kiss him senseless, then jump him to be
filled with the erection she could still feel against her. But
she was sure that he would start bleeding again and she certainly
didn't want to kill him. She moved one hand to his wound and was
relieved to find that it hadn't started bleeding again. She moved
him back to the ground.
"I'm sorry."
She was kneeling next to him and now took his face in her hands
and bent down to kiss his forehead. She could hear his sigh of
relief.
Then she resumed her earlier position and lay down next to him,
her head on his shoulder, her arms around him.
He held her tightly, thanking god, that she hadn't run away. He
loved her even more now. She was so understanding, so generous.
She had swept away all his embarrassment and fear in one simple
gesture. He wanted to kiss her head but didn't dare to push his
luck, so he just held her, glad that his desire for her was
finally out and that she wasn't appalled or laughed about him.
She could feel his steady breathing. It felt wonderful and she
suddenly realized that she would never get enough of that. Of
him. Yes, she wanted him, sexually, but there was more than that.
She wanted kisses and hugs and long showers and dinners and
breakfasts. She wanted to wake up next to him, wanted to shop
with him, wanted to fight over who would do the dishes.
She wanted everything. She wanted him.
She loved him.
And somehow that surprised as her little as the fact that he
loved her. Somewhere deep inside she had known. She didn't know
when it had happened and how, but it had been there for a while
now. She wondered how long it would take until the doctor would
allow her to tell him. Not that she needed permission to tell
Giles she loved him, but she was very aware that her ability to
hold back would crumble to nothing the moment that he would touch
her. So she would wait until Giles was fit enough for her need to
prove her love to him.
She tried not to relax too much and managed not to fall asleep,
waking him twice to check if he was okay.
*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*
Xander woke to a kiss the next morning.
When he felt himself harden, he put his hands on her breasts but
Joyce stopped him.
"We have to look for them."
She was right. They hurried to put on their clothes exchanging
smiles a couple of times. Then they went off into the woods,
Xander eating some cake, while Joyce shouted for her daughter and
Giles.
They walked hand in hand and followed a trail of broken branches
until it was gone. Then they moved on more slowly trying to scan
the area for any sign of them. It was only ten minutes later that
they heard an answer.
"Mom, we're here."
They rushed towards the voice and finally found Buffy and Giles.
"Oh, my god." Joyce felt the tears in her eyes as she
saw the blood on Buffy's shirt. Then she realized that it wasn't
Buffy's shirt, but Giles'.
He was still lying on the ground with a bare torso. Then she saw
the wound.
"Are you okay?"
"He's all right, I guess, but he lost a lot of blood. We
need to carry him back to the car and get him something to drink
and then to a doctor."
They managed to carry him back, without reopening the wound and
an hour later they were on their way from the hospital to Giles'
apartment. They had allowed him to leave under the condition,
that someone would take care of him. Buffy had immediately agreed
to do so.
When Joyce stopped, Buffy helped Giles out of the car and up the
stairs to his apartment.
Joyce watched after them until they were gone and even then she
didn't drive off.
She looked at Xander.
"Shall I drive you home or do you want to come to my
place?"
His gaze was intense and very serious.
"I never really had a home. And I would love to go to your
house not as *your* place but as *our* place."
"You want to move in with me?"
"No. I want to marry you."
She gasped surprised.
"Xander..."
"I... I wasn't joking when I said you had all a man could
wish for. I want to be with you Joyce and I want to be more than
your lover. I know that I have no experience and nothing to
offer. No money, no home, no fut-"
"I'll marry you."
He looked at her, not fully comprehending, then finally returned
her smile.
They moved towards each other and kissed.
She trailed one hand down his body between his legs to his
rapidly hardening penis.
"I take it, you don't want to wait to the wedding
night?"
"Not if the chapel isn't on our way to our bedroom and will
be able to marry us in less than two minutes."
"I guess we'll skip the wedding then. At least for
today."
With that she drove off, rushing home.
*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*~~~~*
When Giles came out of his bathroom, he was surprised to find
Buffy waiting for him, wearing one of his pyjama tops. It was
long enough to cover her as much as one of her skirts, but still
looked dangerously erotic. He tried to push that thought away and
succeeded, helped by the knowledge that he didn't have to hide
his feelings any longer.
She pulled back the blanket and motioned for him to get in. He
did.
"Buffy, I really don't think that's necessary."
She pulled the blanket up to his chin, then went to the window to
draw the blinds.
"Good-night, Buffy."
He was ready to drift to sleep, when he felt her slide under the
blanket.
"Buffy!"
"Good-night, Giles."
"You ca-can't..."
"That way I'll be here when you need me. So shut up and try
to get some sleep."
He didn't think that he could ever sleep with her lying so close,
but the lack of sleep was too much. It took only a few minutes
until he was dreaming of her.
When he woke up, he could smell food. He put on a robe and went
downstairs to find her in the kitchen, cursing his utensils as
they didn't do as she wished.
He laughed and she turned around.
"Oh, I woke you."
"No, you didn't. What are you doing?"
"Trying to cook. And failing miserably."
She sighed and he helped her after promising her to get right
back to bed after lunch.
A week went by during which Giles woke happily with Buffy in his
arms and Buffy fussed over him to make sure that he got better as
soon as possible.
"Can't wait to get out of your nursing duty" he kidded
one day, but Buffy only looked at him seriously.
Then finally the doctor pronounced him well enough to get back to
work.
After Buffy drove him home, she said good-bye and left him alone
in his apartment. He felt strange. He had so gotten used to Buffy
around, that his apartment seemed deserted without her. Her
laughter and teasing. Just her presence and the knowledge, that
even if she wasn't in the same room, he'd just have to call her.
She had filled his life the past week. With something he should
have never let himself feel.
Hope.
But now she was gone and the next time she would come would
probably be with the others for research or other slayer
business. He sighed and carried a load of books into his bedroom.
They should be able to keep his mind off Buffy and he could do a
little general research at the same time.
When he looked up from his books shortly after midnight, he saw
Buffy standing in the door, wearing one of his shirts, she must
have taken with her.
"What...? Has something happened?"
She went to the bed and put all the books away from the sheets
onto the ground next to the bed. He watched her as she crawled
under the blanket.
"Buffy, I'm fine now. The doctor said I don't need any
assistance any longer. You don't have to sleep next me."
She moved closer to him until her face was near his.
"I don't want you to sleep and I don't want you next to
me."
He gulped and his heart picked up speed. She looked him in the
eye and then moved her mouth even closer, to his ear. Then she
whispered.
"I want you inside me."
He turned his face towards her, mouth half-open, his eyes
mirroring his disbelief.
"I want you to fill me. With your love, your passion, your
body."
This couldn't be. Not only *what* she said, but *how* she said
it. His wildest fantasies were coming true. And he couldn't bring
his body to move (except one part ;-) He was too afraid to wake
up.
When she saw how he felt, she stopped her seductive demeanor and
smiled at him.
"I love you, Giles."
The genuine emotion behind those words seemed to wake him out of
immobility. He moved one hand up to her face and lightly caressed
her cheek. Buffy leaned into his hand, while he looked at her in
wonder before finally speaking.
"I love you, too, Buffy."
They looked at each other for an eternity before closing the gap
between their faces.
When their lips met it was pure tenderness - for about 5 seconds.
Then the passion erupted and they explored each other with
everything they had.
Skin on skin, sounds of clothes being removed and whispers...
"God, the waiting almost killed me." "How long did
you wait?" "I wanted this ever since that night in the
woods." Sounds of laughter. "It wasn't funny. I had
force myself to keep my hands off you all week." "What
shall I say? I waited a year for this." A kiss. "You
don't have to wait any longer." Two simultaneous moans.
"Oh, god, Buffy." Another long kiss. "Oh, god.
Rupert. Yes." "You like that? How about this?" Two
bodies turning around. "Yes. Yes. Oh, god, *yes*."
"Oh, Buffy." "I love you, Rupert." "I
love you, too." Shortly after that two shouts of agonizing
pleasure.
Giles collapsed on her then rolled on his back taking her with
him so that she was on top again.
She kissed his cheek.
"That was wonderful, Giles."
"What happened to Rupert?"
"I'm sorry. What do you want me to call you?"
"When it's in the same sentence as 'I love you' or 'That was
wonderful' I pretty much don't care."
She smiled.
"I'm so glad my Mom invited us to that picnic."
"We should thank her."
"I think she's already gotten more than she expected."
"Are you okay with that?"
"Xander my new stepfather? Sure. And anyway, it'll be a lot
easier to break the news to her as it is."
"She'll still not be happy."
"But she won't complain. I can already imagine the four of
us going out. This will make for some fun situations. 'Can I
introduce you to my husband? No, it's the *old* guy.'"
"Will you never stop joking about my age?"
"Na. Teasing you is far too much fun. And you can always
prove me wrong."
She ran her hand over his wound up to his left nipple. He moved
his hands down to her butt and squeezed it, sending himself a
little deeper inside her.
"See? I knew you could do it."
She started to move above him at first slowly, then riding him
faster as he hardened inside her.
He had his hands on her hips and watched her beautiful body bring
him to the brink when suddenly a thought hit him.
"Did you say 'husband'?"
She half mumrmured half moaned a confirmation.
"I can't remember proposing to you."
"You didn't."
He moaned as she moved even faster.
"Will you marry me?"
She squeezed her inner muscles.
"Oh, *Buffy*."
"Will you?"
She tightened around him again.
"Oh my god."
"Rupert?"
"Aaaah."
"Will you marry me?"
When he felt her internal muscles tighten around him again and
again, he couldn't hold back any longer.
He shot his seed into her at the same time screaming his answer.
"*YES*, *YES*, *YES*!"
Buffy came shortly after him and then they lay in each other's
arms again.
"Then there's only one problem."
"And what would that be?"
"Whatever are we going to say, if someone asks us where, how
and who proposed?"
