AUTHOR'S NOTE - Rocky Horror came on the telly tonight and it's one
of my fave movies ever. I know someone else wrote a BG fic with a
Rocky theme and I loved it, I hope you're not insulted that I decided
to write one too. Please accept my apologies if you are.
"Are you sure this is what you wish for underling?"
"Hey, who you calling... I mean yes."
"Very well then it shall be done."
The demon vanished in a puff of smoke wondering if the grovelling
creature was aware of what he'd asked for. Sunnydale was about to
get a whole lot more interesting.
Buffy knocked on her door, having forgotten her keys tonight. She'd
been out patrolling when a thunderstorm had abruptly appeared and
soaked her to the bone. The dorms had been closer but she'd felt an
intense desire to go home instead. She banged harder as the rain was
chilling, when Riley suddenly appeared beside her.
"What the......?"
"Riley?" Buffy prodded him in the chest to make sure he was real.
"Owww, yes, what the hell am I doing here?" Buffy wondered the same
thing, people popping out of thin air was a little disconcerting.
"That's a good question Riley, why are you here?"
"I....I...don't know." They heard the door creak and both jumped.
When it opened Xander stood before them, he wore an old dirty looking
suit.
"I think you'd better both come inside." He moved back to allow them
to enter. Buffy gasped at what she saw, instead of her homey living
room there was a giant neglected looking mansion in it's place,
complete with a grandfather clock and cobwebs. Xander was slightly
hunched and tried to get their attention.
"Riley? What are you doing here?"
"Long story Xander, what's wrong with your back?" The boys shook
hands, they would have been happy to see each other under different
circumstances.
"Guys you have to leave right now, I don't know what's going on but
things are really weird."
"Weird how Xand?" Buffy became concerned, weird on the hellmouth was
never a surprise but always a worry.
"Weird like I can't get this hunch out of my back, like why am I in
your house, why is Riley standing beside you and umm behold the
decor!"
"Well at least Giles will have a room to sleep in now rather than the
couch, lucky him."
Willow suddenly appeared on the banister of a large staircase to
their right. She was wearing some sort of French maids costume, she
looked quite adorable.
She slid down as she crooned, "You're lucky, he's lucky, I'm lucky,
we're all lucky!" She began to cackle as the clock chimed for
midnight.
"Ah.......I don't know where that came from, sorry guys, storms make
me a little crazy. Ummm hi Riley!"
Buffy smiled at Will, she was a wacky one that was for sure.
"Uhoh!" Xander could feel a song trying to burst free, this was exactly how he'd felt last week when the demon Sweet had come to town. He was terrified of what secret's he would reveal this time. Music began to play and they all looked to see where it was coming from. Xander's hand came free of his mouth and he began to sing along with the phantom song.
"It's astounding, time is fleeting, madness takes its toll
But listen closely."
"Not for very much longer." Willow blushed wondering where that had
come from.
"I've got to keep control," Xander suddenly felt all his will power
fly out the window and he let loose, giving the song all he had.
"I remember doing the time warp
Drinking those moments when
The blackness would hit me
And the voice would be calling."
Willow joined in on the last line and suddenly everyone felt pressed to sing, "Let's do the time warp again." Buffy's eyebrows leapt to the ceiling, she'd heard all this before, no wonder things looked vaguely familiar. All four tried to stop singing and dancing but it was as though they were puppets in some impromptu play. Well if you can't beat 'em join 'em, they decided to have some fun with it.
They were now in a great hall, decorations were everywhere. Anya appeared wearing a cute pair of hotpants and a stunning sequinned corset. She started to sing as everyone looked on in amusement.
"Well I was walking down the street just a having a think
When a snake of a guy gave me an evil wink
He shook-a me up he took me by surprise
He had a pick-up truck and the devil's eyes
He stared at me and I felt a change
Time meant nothing never would again."
They all joined in again for the chorus really getting into it now,
everyone seemed to be having a blast except for Riley. Buffy hit him
playfully as she jumped to the left then ducked out of his way as she
took a step to the right. They sang their hearts out until the music
wound down and they all crashed on the floor in a fit of giggles.
"That was the coolest thing I've ever done." Buffy said mid giggle.
"Yeah it was great." Everyone noticed the sarcasm in Riley's voice as
he picked himself up off the floor.
"We just performed 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' man, does it get any
cooler than that!" Xander heaved himself up and helped the rest of
the women to regain their footing.
"Wait if we're all here then where's Giles?" Buffy hoped he wasn't in
any danger.
"Ummm guys, how many of you have seen Rocky Horror?" Xander wondered
if anyone else knew what they were in store for.
"I have, years ago, I loved it!" Buffy seemed to be the only other
person to have watched it, the others were all shaking their heads.
"Well lets see here, obviously I'm Riff Raff and Will's Magenta."
Xander tried to picture the movie in his mind.
"Yeah and I'm Janet and I guess that makes Riley, Brad." She smiled
as she realised the only main character that was left.
"Oh no!" Xander shook his head.
"Oh yes Xand!" Buffy tried hard to stop her heart from fluttering. 'I
hope he dresses the part.'
"Giles is Frank N Furter!" They said in unison but Buffy seemed far
more thrilled by the idea than Xander.
They heard a tapping sound and Buffy turned to where an elevator was descending. A stiletto heel and fishnet stockings came into view. Riley became aroused hoping it was a hot chick come to perform for them, Xander closed his eyes and began to repeat the multiplication table quietly to himself. The girls however were mesmerised. It was obviously Giles and he looked stunning, for a transvestite anyway. Buffy zoomed in on Giles and only Giles, she hadn't thought it was possible but he actually looked super hot in a teddy and heels. She bounced excitedly on the spot ready to see a side of Giles she'd never expected the pleasure of viewing. Riley screamed and fainted.
"How'd you do I
See you've met my
Faithful handyman.
He's just a little brought down because
When you knocked
He thought you were the candy man
Don't get strung out by the way I look
Don't judge a book by its cover"
He seemed to be staring pointedly in Buffy's direction, his eyes trying to make her pay attention to the words. She'd never paid more attention to anything in her life than she was to Giles this very moment.
"I'm not much of a man by the light of day
But by night I'm one hell of a lover"
Buffy blushed as he winked at her, he was oozing sexuality, she didn't know one man could contain so much.
He hand slid down the front of his teddy as he lulled,
"I'm just a sweet transvestite
From Transsexual Transylvania"
Buffy watched as Giles sauntered past
them to an old velvet chair sitting on the far side of the room.
Riley awoke to her drooling at Giles' retreating figure, "he sure
fills that costume out nicely." Willow and Anya agreed, they were
also having problems seeing anything but Giles.
Giles licked his lips and continued watching Buffy.
"Why don't you stay for the night
Or maybe a bite."
He playfully bit in her direction.
When his song was done, he took a deep breath and asked if everyone
was all right.
"Yeah Giles we're great, I love your costume, you
were.....fantastic." She sounded like a groupie but at this point she
didn't care, she could hardly form a coherent thought.
Riley cleared his throat, "Well it's wonderful you're all having such
a great time but I'm not. I don't know why I'm here and I really want
to go home. Besides this is the hellmouth, this could get dangerous."
Loathe though he was to admit it Giles agreed with the annoying young
man, "Yes Riley is right, oh and why are you here?." Buffy noticed
the venom in Giles' voice as he said her ex-boyfriend's name and
filed it away to mull over later. Riley just glared at Giles and
pouted.
"I've seen this movie once or twice," performed it onstage in London
in his Ripper days to be honest but he wasn't prepared to admit that
just yet. "Things could get decidedly nasty."
"Ahhh Buffy, I'm really sorry but I have an overwhelming desire to
undress you."
"Willow, I can understand why you need to because you are gay but I
am very much heteroXanderal and yet I feel the urge to strip Riley
and Buffy to their underwear also. What is going on?" Anya seemed
very perturbed. She and Willow converged on Buffy and Riley and began
to strip them of their clothes until they were left in only their
undergarments.
Buffy stood shivering in only a bra, panties and petticoat while
Riley was left wearing only a pair of Y-fronts which made him look
utterly ridiculous. 'Is there something wrong with me that Giles can
be dressed as a trannie and I still think he's hotter than Riley in
only a pair of underpants?'
Buffy turned away from Riley's incessant whining and caught Giles
staring at her now semi-dressed state. She smiled and was surprised
when he didn't blush and turn away but seemed to ogle further. This
was most definitely a side of Giles she could get used to.
Buffy fast forwarded the film in her mind, 'Ooooh I get to sleep with
Giles!!!!' The others looked at her as she squealed
excitedly. "Sorry." 'Ok so I get to and oh my gosh so does Riley.'
"Ok we have to figure out a way to get out of here before Riley and
Giles have to sleep together."
Riley spun on Buffy, "I'm sorry but what!?!?!" Riley exploded, he'd
never seen this movie they were apparently stuck in and had no idea,
as usual, what was going on.
"Oh dear!" Giles was glad he was seated, he'd been thrilled to show
Buffy a different side of himself though he'd rather have done it in
private. He'd been so overjoyed at doing the scene with Buffy in
Janet's room that he'd completely forgotten about the following one
with Brad.
Buffy explained the plot to Riley who had then needed to sit down
too, he was still slumped on the floor as she pressed on.
"So who get's to be Rocky?" The moment the words came from Buffy's
mouth they heard groaning coming from the next room. She knew her
question was about to be answered. A bandaged figure emerged from a
multicoloured tank, like a large aquarium, but this was no fish.
Willow and Anya ran to help the stumbling mummy, it was mumbling
something but no one could understand through the bandages. They
managed to get his head free and all were shocked at who it was.
"Spike?"
Spike explained he was out looking for a snack, one of the already
dead variety, he was quick to point out. He'd felt woozy and blacked
out, next thing he knew he was covered in bandages and in a glass
tank.
"What in the bloody hell is going on?"
"We don't know a whole lot, just that we all seem to be compelled to
perform the Rocky Horror Picture Show."
"So I'm Rocky? Bollocks!" He opened his mouth to further complain but
all he was able to do was sing the 'Sword of Damocles' while the
girls cut the binding cloth from him. He was left embarrassed and
cold standing in the middle of the room wearing only a pair of gold
speedo's.
"Oh dear." Giles was forced to sing a song about making Spike a man
as they all watched Spike do various feats of strength. Buffy felt
sorry for poor Giles, having to come on to Spike that way, she
couldn't wait for her turn however. When the song was over Giles felt
the definite need for a bath, Buffy walked over to him and placed a
hand on his shoulder.
"Hey." She said softly, hoping he was all right.
"Hello." He smiled at her, grateful she'd not been disgusted by his
appearance, it wasn't every slayer that got to see her watcher in
such apparel.
"Are you doing ok? I know you're probably mortified at the others
seeing you like this." He raised an eyebrow at her phrasing.
"The others? I would think you'd be horrified at seeing me this way
also."
She blushed and stared at the floor, though it was quiet he heard her
none the less, "Not in the least."
He was shocked and overjoyed all at once, it was a disorienting
feeling.
"Giles....I....I...lov......I like your outfit." He was sure she'd
been about to say something else but he thanked her for the
compliment all the same.
Gathering courage as she seemed to be comfortable with flattery at this point, "A..a...and I very much like what you're wearing." She beamed at him, he was almost blinded by the intensity of her smile. She put an arm through his and lay her head on his naked bicep, it felt so right to be this close to him. Janet and Frank had never behaved so sweetly toward one another in the film so neither was concerned that these feelings had anything to do with the spell. Riley looked at the couple, they were so different and yet they seemed so perfect a match. He knew she'd never been his but he'd always held out hope that one day he would return and she'd be reading and waiting. He realised now how stupid he'd been. Sighing he left them alone to figure things out on their own.
A red light flashed and a beeping sound akin to a truck in reverse came from a freezer in the corner of the room. Giles, Buffy and Xander all panicked, they were the only one's that knew what was to come. The door began to open and someone in a leather vest and jeans rode out on a motorcycle. It was obvious the rider was a vampire, newly risen at that, he didn't even know how to mask his ridges yet. He peeled out of the freezer and began to sing.
"Whatever happened to Saturday night
When you dressed up sharp and you felt all right
It don't seem the same since cosmic light
Came into my life I thought I was divine."
The girls screamed and jumped out of the motorbikes path as the vamp tore his way around the room.
"Hot patootie bless my soul
Really love that rock and roll
Hot patootie bless my soul
I really love that rock and roll."
The vamp was really getting into it, he didn't understand what was going on but he liked it. 'I wonder if all vampires awake to this?' He eyed Anya and zoomed toward her. He grabbed her around the waist and placed her on the back of the bike, 'well he is kind of cute for a vampire.' She held on tight, the bike was flying around the room and she didn't want to fall. As the song wore on he pulled up and placed her back on the ground then jumped off the bike too. He grabbed a saxophone that had been hanging on his back and began to wail on it. Buffy watched Giles from the corner of her eye as he stalked toward the singer. She knew what was coming next, it was the same on film. Giles hacked the vampire to pieces until all that was left was some dust floating on the breeze.
"Well that was bracing." Giles wiped the blood from his hands onto
the surgical scrubs that had appeared over his lingerie somewhere
along the line.
Buffy nervously chewed her lip, "Ummm Giles?"
"Yes luv?" She smiled at the affectionate term but continued on
nervously.
"I think there's something we've all forgotten."
"What's that?" Xander racked his brain.
"In the next scene you and Spike are supposed to get married and
consummate your vows."
"Bloody hell!" Spike and Giles exclaimed at once.
"Ah I may know how to stop all this." Everyone turned to Spike eager
to hear what he had to say. Buffy was particularly interested, if
anyone were to bed Giles tonight it would be her.
"Umm....well you see.....there was this demon." Buffy threw Spike
against the wall, not in the least surprised he was behind this.
"Tell us what to do or I'll stake you right now." Seeing Buffy pin
him against a wall whilst scantily clad would normally have been his
every wish come true but the stake aimed at his heart and the hatred
in her eyes dampened it all somewhat.
Spike explained that he'd met a demon at Willie's one night when he
was feeling particularly low. He'd sobbed on its shoulder in a
drunken stupor of his unrequited love for the slayer. He told of when
Sweet came to town, how she'd finally kissed him. He wanted that
again, if only there were a way.
"So anyway long story short this demon was of the same ilk as Sweet,
cousins or something in fact, so he said he'd cut me a deal and
organize it all for me. Well how was I to know that he was a huge
Rocky Horror fan? Stupid git messed things up royally he did."
Buffy slapped Spike on the back of the head, "No you messed things
up, just like you always do. Call him and make him stop all of this."
Spike obliged and within minutes things were back to normal, well for Sunnydale anyway. The platinum haired vampire made a run for it before the slayer had a chance to take her anger out on him. The others said goodnight and wandered home, tired but with a smile on their face. Riley had magically disappeared when the demon had straightened everything up, probably off fighting nasties in a jungle somewhere again. They hadn't even had a chance to say goodbye, it wasn't the first time. Giles was now dressed in his usual style, a pair of trousers and an oxford shirt. She however was still stuck in her underwear, her wet shirt and skirt around somewhere.
She shivered, partly from the cold but mainly because they were now
alone. He removed his shirt and instructed Buffy to put it on. He
thought he'd be disappointed to see her covered up but the sight of
her in his shirt had its own appeal. Giles was now bare chested and
she had to remind herself to breathe. They began to talk at the same
time, smiled and stopped.
"You go first m'dear."
"Oh.....well...ummm.....I'm not really sure how to say it. Me and
words are unmixy things."
He smiled gently at her, encouraging her to continue.
"Well what if I show you instead? I'm a slayer we do action much
better."
She threw herself into his arms and buried her face in his chest.
Startled he stood frozen for a moment until instinct took over and he
wrapped his arms around her. She sighed happily and snuggled closer.
"This is nice." His chest muffled her voice but he understood her
perfectly.
"Yes, it most certainly is." He placed his head on top of hers and
let himself get lost in the moment. She raised her face and he moved
back slightly, never letting go. She stood on tippy-toe and placed a
kiss on his cheek, he glowed with happiness at the gesture.
"That felt nice too." She bit her lip, anticipation running through
her.
"Mmmm it did." He let a finger brush some hair behind her ear and
slowly leaned down to kiss her cheek.
"I liked that too I have to say." She touched her cheek where he'd
kissed it, it burned. This was the first time since she'd returned
that she felt alive, felt anything. He saw the love in her eyes,
could feel her heart pounding against his chest.
"Buffy I have something I need to tell you too." She radiated hope,
fear and love.
"Show me," she said breathlessly.
He tucked a finger under her chin and raised it as he leant down. Their lips met for the briefest of moments 'til he pulled back to look at her face. He needed to know she felt every ounce of what he did. Her eyes were closed and she looked as though she were in a trance. His heart burst with love, she was his. He swooped in on her again and this time their lips melded. Feather light kisses turned into passionate snogging. He lifted her into his arms, one hand under legs the other behind her back. She wrapped her arms around his neck never wanting their kisses to halt. He pulled away for mere seconds but it felt as though she was suddenly bereft of her life source.
"I love you so very much my dearest Buffy." He placed light kisses
over every inch of her face. His heart had been broken and
haemorrhaging for so many years, this small bundle in his arms had
not only found the pieces he'd thought forever lost but had made it
sing again.
"I love you too Giles, I love you so so so so so much." She
punctuated each 'so' with a kiss. He held her tightly to him as he
charged upstairs. She squealed happily, she finally felt something
and it was the most wondrous thing she'd ever known, the love of a
good man.
